Green to GreyPlant Memorial Care
The Green to Grey workshop
Our story

It started with one tree we couldn’t throw away

Green to Grey began with a gardener, a fiddle-leaf fig, and a feeling they couldn’t shake. After years of moving that tree from home to home, when it finally faded there was simply no dignified way to let it go. Binning it felt wrong. So they didn’t.

Word spread, quietly, the way these things do. It turned out a great many people carried the same unspoken grief for a plant — and had nowhere to bring it. What was one person’s small act of respect has grown into a team of twenty, serving families and plant-lovers who understand that a living thing deserves a real goodbye.

We’re not a novelty and we’re not a punchline. We’re a proper operation — collectors, ceremony keepers, and makers — doing tender work with steady hands.

The people

Twenty hands, one purpose

Eight

Collection team

The people who arrive at your door and carry your plant with a steady hand.

Six

Ceremony keepers

They tend the send-off itself — the candle, the words, the quiet.

Six

Keepsake makers

Our workshop hands who shape the urns, frames and engraved stones by hand.

We take it seriously

No jokes at the door, no eye-rolls. If it mattered to you, it matters to us.

We work by hand

From collection to keepsake, real people do the work — carefully, and slowly enough to do it right.

We honor every leaf

A seedling or a decade-old fig — each one is seen off with the same intention.

We’d be honored to care for yours
